I also have a deep love for table top games. I've spent hours deconstructing the rules and mechanics to find out what makes them tick and see how they're balanced. 

I've "reskinned" a few - putting new art overtop of the existing game with very little rule change. And I've improved existing games with new cards. I even prototyped a few original games on my own.
